Summer Art Camp in Full Swing!

Our second week of summer art camp with our Kindergarten through 2nd graders was brought into full swing with Dorothy Hanbright's class "People, Places and Things".

Building a home...

... and learning to paint with watercolors.

Here the class is learning the artistic process of critique with their night-scape paintings. Each student has an opportunity to talk about their piece of art work as well as offer encouragement to their classmates.

Here is the class in front of their paintings after a full morning of making art work!

In the the afternoon session, the class "Color Your World" was led by Celia Gray.

A young artist with his well balanced sculpture.

One of our magnificent summer interns, Lindsay, assisting the students with some very fun and very messy materials.

Three-dimensional and colorful; the students had the opportunity to build and then to color their very own world!
