This first week as been filled with so much creativity! There were about 40 campers in the studio this week for Arts Extravaganza & Mixed Up & Messy. Our campers ranged between 5 and 8 years old, but we could have been fooled. The teachers bragged all week about their enthusiasm, listening skills, and creativity. It has been a pleasure to work with these kids!

Mrs. Sara taught the Arts Extravaganza class in the mornings. The campers made family flags, glittery mosaics, landscapes, cityscapes, and beautiful prints. The campers learned a lot about different mediums to create art. This group was great and we hope to see these campers again.

Mrs. Benares taught the afternoon class, Mixed up & Messy. These campers were excited about everything! In this class the children practiced drawing animals, made pillows, self portraits, experimented with oil pastels and water color, and did amazing things with play dough. It was a great afternoon group.

The teachers have been amazing, these campers are lucky to have such wonderful teachers. Thank you to all the families. This first week has set the tone for the summer and I can't imagine a better time. Please feel free to comment about your child's experience and check out the photos we have posted.
